Cean LaRosa, PhD
Embryologist/Andrologist/
Endocrinologist

Cean LaRosa has recently moved to the Houston, Texas area from Milwaukee, WI. It was there that she received her Bachelor's degree in Science with a double major in Biology and Chemistry from Mount Mary College.

After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she was accepted into the Graduate School for Life Sciences at Marquette University. Cean's studies and research were focused on specific proteins involved in the meiotic maturation (development) of mammalian oocytes. She received her Doctorate degree after five years and published a number of scientific papers during that time. Her alacrity and ambition for reproduction give her the dedication and drive for the infertility field. Her technical and research skills, along with her attention to detail and constant quest for new advances, make her a wonderful asset in and out of the laboratory.

Cean is not only a skilled scientist; she is the mother of three children, an experience which enables her to approach each patient with a personal touch and sense of empathy and understanding.

Upon meeting Dr. Willie Zoma and listening to his beliefs and philosophies regarding patient care and practice politics, she immediately knew that the RUTEK Center for Reproductive Medicine was a wonderful employment and personal growth opportunity, which resulted in her relocation and current employment running the Andrology, Embryology and Endocrinology Laboratories.

Dr. LaRosa welcomes and encourages any questions.
